My First Blog

I don't really know if there's a certain format for these types of things or if you just write your thoughts but I guess I'll just do my own thing. Recently I've had a lot of wonderful success. I was fortunate enough to be a part of the Musical Series on One Life To Live. That turned out to be such an incredible experience. Everyone in the cast was so ridiculously talented and even more so, genuine and good hearted. I feel like that's what I respect more than anything else, in this business especially, good hearted people. The kind of people that don't let fame or success get to their heads but rather, become humbled by it and grow more modest with each new accomplishment. These are the people I will always have the most respect for. After One Life To Live I was lucky enough to book the Dolce and Gabbana Fall 2010 Ad Campaign as Madonna's son. I can't go into much detail about that one because I'm not allowed to but I will say it was one of the most fantastical and exhilarating experiences of my life. When I woke up the next day I really still couldn't believe I had just been a part of such a amazing photo shoot. It was after that photo shoot that I realized how much I truly have to be grateful for. I have everything anyone could ever ask for including a never ending supply of love and support from my friends and family.
I believe that gratitude is not just saying thank you for everything one has but more so giving to those who have less than ones self. Recently a few friends and I hosted a benefit for Haiti at the "The Players" club in Gramercy Park. We put together a great show with songs (classical and contemporary), dances, monologues, and poetry. We thought a few people would show up and maybe we could donate a few hundred dollars to the cause. We ended up raising $2711 and we are still receiving donations. The event was a great success and on top of raising a good amount of money for YELE Haiti, we also put on a fantastic show. There's no feeling like that of doing a good deed. It's a miraculous and irreplaceable feeling to bring joy and help to other human beings lives. As we learned in theater history the other day, the only thing we bring to our graves are our good deeds. We don't take our relationships, friendships, material goods or anything else for that matter, just our good deeds and the positive energy we bring to the world.

  4. Max,
I have recently discovered you on Youtube, and I can absolutely say that I'm already a huge fan of yours. I was pulled in by your amazing voice to begin with but when I found out you were in 13, the Musical, I freaked out even more. I instantly bought your album on Itunes and I cannot wait until you become huge, there's no doubt about it. Best wishes and keep posting!
